How to get sound from my LCD to stereo?
I want to connect my 32" LCD Vizio to my Phillips home theater system, but I don't know how I could do it. Is there a cable that I can connect from the optical audio out port to like the red and white audio in ports on my system?
My stereo reciever has HDMI connections but I think it is just for the DVD player to the TV, Im, not sure tho
Get a new stereo Receiver with optical inputs. I'm sorry, but if your stereo system doesn't have an Optical input, then it's pretty old. That's the only way you'll get sound from your LCD tv, unless it has analog audio outputs, and that is doubtful.
