I just bought a new tv and i cant find channels?
I have a 32 inch westinghouse lcd HDTV. I scanned for channels over the air and i got two. BTW I live in columbus. My fox 28 is not their and a bunch of other things. So if you have printable instructions or u want to tell me step by step that is fine.
P.S I live in columbus ,OH and i got my TV today.
You are reverting back to the old days with new technology.
You may need a directional antenna to tune in some channels. The directional antenna is more sensitive, but will only pick up stations in that direction. You may need to add the channels manually if possible then locate them with the antenna.
You also need to make sure to set the TV to auto program air or antenna as opposed to cable. There should be a menu setting that switches the antenna input between air and cable. It causes it to tune a different set of frequencies. My set scanned the cable channels then asked if I wanted to scan over the air channels. I would use a splitter to use both cable and antenna at the same time.
