What sort of HDMI cable works with Western Digital's WD TV Live HD Media Player?
I'm going to buy one soon. But it doesn't come with an HDMI Cable. I've a Sony Bravia HDTV. What HDMI cable should I use?
The cheapest one you can find. HDMI cables are all the same. There are plenty of consumer tests that show the cheap ones perform the same as the expensive ones. So go cheap.
Amazon.com, monoprice.com, and bluejeanscable.com are good online vendors to check out. Otherwise look for computer stores or TV stores that will sell you no-name brand cables. There's really no need to spend more than $10 on an HDMI cable in today's market (unless its really long).
If the cable says its HDMI 1.3 then you're good to go. That means it does video and audio over the same cable (all being sold are that now anyway). The other "specs" are more marketing than useful differences in cables.
