I have a 42" Plasma Vizio TV. Its a couple years old and i noticed that there is a very small line running?
down each side of the screen. It is not noticeable when watching tv unless it is an all white screen. I heard that this is normal and it happens to a lot of plasmas because the center of the screen gets used more. I was just curious if this is true or if anybody else knows whats going on or has had the same experience... Thank you for any help
It sounds like an issue with one or more of the TV's sustain boards!
And it's a common issue with cheap brand Plasma TVs like Vizio. Brands like Panasonic and Pioneer almost never have this problem. They are among the most reliable and trouble-free brands of Plasma TVs!
There's a chance that your TV will not get any worse. However...there's a decent chance that it will get worse and stop working! And i think Vizio is a company that doesn't offer repairs on their discontinued Plasma lines! You may want to check to be sure.
