Help with new HDTV? Picture problem?
I got a brand new Vizio VL320M and plugged it in. The cable channels look AWFUL. Grainy and all around bad. I don't have digital cable or rabbit ears...just a coaxial cable.
However, when I have my Xbox 360 hooked up, it looks great.
Do I need to get an HD cable box to get better reception through my cable? Or am I missing something?
Well, you're KINDA missing something here...
First, Xbox 360 is 720P HD....
2nd, an HD signal from an HD Cable box looks great too...
But you should also know that the HD box gets HD signals, and the OLD Low Def Analog channels too...
So if you set your HD box to one of the OLD analog channels, you'll still get the AWFUL signal you are forced to watch right now.
But when you actually tune in the SAME network on their different HD channel, that signal is HD, "Noiseless, High Definition, IMPRESSIVE....Wow that looks GREAT in HD" signal
