How much is a six month old 42" Vizio plasma tv worth?
This tv retails now for $1000 new. What is a fair price to offer someone who is selling one that is six months old?
personally I would offer 500$- 700$. You figure for starters you are taking a risk of buying a product that is used. Who knows if the television has been knocked down, or knocked about. And also , MOST IMPORTANTLY you can not buy an extended warranty for it. If you read consumer reports they recommend that you buy the extended warranty for3items.1 excercise equipment that has a computer type chips or programs in it. I.e. treadmills , eliptical machines etc. 2 computers, 3 electronics.I.e. T.V'S ,stereos etc.So to conclude unless you are getting a sweet deal on the plasma screen buy brand new .because in the long run saving a couple of hundred bucks may not be worth it.
