vizio lcd tv 1080p 120hz

Why is 120Hz better than 60Hz when it cimes to 1080p LCD TVs?
I'm looking at TVs and I want more bang for the buck. Also, what do you think is better: Vizio, Toshiba, RCA?
Ok - LCD displays have a problem. They cannot display fast moving images.
When LCD computer screens first came out - games hated them because of the motion-blur. Over time they got faster, but the problem is still there.
To reduce the problem - the newer LCD televisions try to display the screen image twice as often so you dont notice the blur. The images still come from the antenna/cable/sat/blu-ray player at 60 hz, but the screen draws it twice as often.
You dont ever find 120hz on a Plasma, CRT or DLP television because they dont have the motion-blur problem.
Of the three Vizio is probably the better, more active brand. But you cannot repair a Vizio. So when it breaks - you buy a new TV. (Thats what you give up when you go cheap.)
