LED display is improvements and RE-FINE of LCD display. LED TV proved much better color reproduction , better dark and black color.easy to cover the " motion blur ", due to response time, LED TV pictures quality almost closer to Plasma . * technically not, but to our EYE, will be no signification difference .LED TV is 40 % less power consumption compare to LCD.

Consider Samsung LED TV. as Samsung leading in LED TV Technologies, taken WORLD 93 % of LED TV market share, worth to paid for it.
Samsung LCD TV LN46B630 is one of the GREAT models . but really cant compare to LED TV ( not fair to compare too ).
