How can you hook a surround sound system up to a Vizio VW26L-26" HDTV TV?
My friend just won a Vizio VW26L-26" HDTV TV in a prize drawing and a surround sound system came with it. Now I tried for several hours to hook it up to the tv however did not succeed in getting the tv to have surround sound but the dvd player worked with it. I browsed the internet for ways to hook it up and found little help. Does anyone know a way to hook up the system to the tv so that we can watch tv with surround sound?
Quite simply:
you dont need to hook the tv up to the surround. hook the dvd player/ satelite box audio directly into the surround. Then plug the video into the tv.
