vizio hdtv 42 inch

My 42-Inch Vizio HDTV came with 0 cable connections.?
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=8477432 Looks like that's the TV.
My brother bought me a TV for Christmas. It's a Vizio 42-Inch Plasma tv. It looks really nice but the only problem is it came with literally zero cables whatsoever. On the back of the TV the numbers VP422 HDTV10A are written. Then on what looks like the power cord port is HDMI3.
Anyways, if someone can help with where I can buy the cables and exactly what I need I would greatly appreciate it.
Merry Christmas to everyone!
I had a friend bring a power cord and HDMI cable over and help me hook up the TV. Everything worked for a few hours and then the TV went blurry and started making a really loud noise and I couldn't turn down the TV or shut it off. I had to unplug it just to get it working again.
And then, I turned it back on and the screen started blinking black for a bit and then did it again. Made a really loud noise and the screen got blurry/fuzzy.
Any idea what is happening?
HDMI cables can be purchased at most electronics stores. They can also be purchased online, at sites like http://www.monoprice.com - where you can save quite a lot versus brands like Monster, who charge an arm and a leg for a product that works just as well.
Now, the question is, are you feeding an HD signal into it? What are you connecting to your TV? If you have an HD cable or satellite box, it probably has an HDMI output. If so, HDMI from the box to your TV, and set your TV input to the correct HDMI source. You're watching HDTV.
Otherwise, what are you hooking up to your TV? If you need further information, add some more details.
EDIT: This is an unexpected development. As for the power cord, is this the power cord included in the box with the TV? That is the best one to use. As for the blurry/fuzzy image, not sure what's going on there. I know there will occasionally be a quick little pop sound with a blink when the screen changes resolutions (such as a 720p channel to a 1080i), but this sounds different.
What sort of blurry? Like an out-of-focus blurry, a whitening, or pixellation/blockiness? What sort of loud noise?
This does seem unusual, but let's make sure we're on the same page and have evaluated the setup - but first inclination says there's a possibility of a defective set here.
