should i get an LCD HDTV first, or a PS3 first?
not sure which to get.
i'm going to eventually buy both.
im thinking about the 32 inch vizio lcd hdtv at sears, cuz i get a discount there.
and i definatley want a ps3....
but im not sure which to buy first? which one would you choose and why?
I would go with the tv first. I have a 32'' Vizio (VX32L) and it's a great TV. I use it with my PS3 and Xbox 360 and it works great with both. The tv has 2 HDMI ports so you can use one to hook up your PS3. If you buy a PS3 now and use it on a standard tv, you won't be able to enjoy the "next-gen" graphics and Blu Ray movies won't look any better than standard-def DVDs. So basically the graphics won't be much better than the PS2. So definetly go with the tv first. Then the PS3 later. Just be sure that if you buy your PS3 later, to pick up an HDMI cable with it because the PS3 comes with only standard-def cables. And don't buy an expensive Monster cable or anything like that, the cheaper cables are just as good.
PS: don't listen to the guy saying don't buy Vizio. I have a 46'' Samsung LCD in my den and it's not much better than the my Vizio at all. Vizio is just as HD as any HDTV. Your PS3 will look great on your Vizio. Also, Vizio is a great brand, most people who bash Vizio haven't even seen one, it's just a brand people aren't familiar with so they assume it's crap... Pure ignorance.
