Which 42" VIZIO HDTV should I get?
Which Vizio HDTV is better? The 42" Plasma or the 42" LCD GV42L?
Go to a store and look at them. Plasma will look better for all standard definition programs. That's almost everything on Cable or satellite. LCD will be a hair sharper on Hi Def, but will look worse most of the time. The glare issue on Plasmas is no worse than your old tube TV. Burn in? Shut the thing off when you're not watching. Minor burn in will go away by itself in a couple of hours.
