Can I Hook My TV to My Computer Using HDMI to HDMI?
I have an HP Pavilion Elite m9040n and have recently bought a Vizio 22 VA220E ECO 720p LCD HDTV. I'd like to hook them up so I can watch TV or a movie or whatever from my computer on my TV...
So, I went to look at the hookup and noticed that I have an Output HDMI outlet on my computer and two HDMI Inputs on my TV. I just wanted to clarify that I can use an HDMI-HDMI cord from my computer to my TV, and that it would work. Also, I read somewhere that the HDMI cord wouldn't transfer the sound from my computer to my TV...Is this true as well? Will I have to buy some other kind of hookup to get the sound to come out of my TV?
It should work fine doing it that way.And yes you should get the sound coming out of your TV.you may after go into your pc settings though if the picture doesn't come through at first
