It depends on what you plan on using the television for. The TV at sears allows you too hook up your PC to it. It also looks cooler in black than the silver Vizio. All of my friends have the Vizio and it is great for playing video games on, and it also has good sound. I have no experience with the Sylvania, but if hooking your computer up to your new TV is important, go with the TV from Sears.
