vizio bluray
do 1080p/full HD hdmi cables only work with 1080p TVs?
I bought one thinking it would work on my 720p TV as well. I have a Vizio M260VA. I'm using a sony bluray/dvd BDP S630 player. When I hook up the sony to my vizio with the rca cables, it works fine. But I bought a 6 ft Xtreme full HD hdmi cable and hooked it up on both my tv and the bluray/dvd player but my TV says there is no signal. Does that mean I should get an hdmi cable that also supports 720p or is the sony bluray/dvd player not letting me use it with the 720p tv when I try hooking it up with an hdmi cable?
Nope all HDMI cables are universal so it delivers 720 or 1080 signals
