please answer the question and not state your own opinion (I know vizio will not last like your hitachi, but I simply am on a budget)
Both will break in 5 years, and rather than getting it repaired, you will find out that parts aren't available....
THEN the Hitachi I HAVE will still be running 15 years from now and at that time you will have shoved 3 Visios into the landfill, while I will only be shoving ONE TV into the landfilll....
Now...what's so good about Visio TV sets, besides the great picture ??
