This is the flat screen I'm getting from amazon i want to know if it is safe buying the refurbished as you can see under the original price my reason why it's like 100$ cheaper do you think it's worth buying refurbished or no?
No I have purchased refurbished items twice before and I wished I hadn't.
One was a micro system advertised as light scratches hardly noticeable - They were great big gouges so I sent it straight back.
The second item was a TV and it broke down within 4 months, the guy I got out to repair it said the main circuit board had a crack through it and it should never have been sold it was only a matter of time before it broke and it was non repairable. I couldn't get a refund when I tried...
Of course for every one person who has a problem with refurbished items there will be one who has no problems. How do you see it, a saving of $100 or a gamble that you might throw $289 down the drain.
