vizio 32 720p hdtv

vizio 1080p vs. (better) name brand 720p (32 inch hdtv)?
i'm buying a new tv and i want to know i i should buy a vizio 1080p tv or a 'better' brand 720p tv (like sony or panasonic) and is the upgrade to a 'name' brand (although vizio is really building a name for itself) worth the drop in resolution. I'm looking to spend around $450 and it will be used mostly for games (i have a ps3 and an xbox 360)
If you are going to be gaming on it mostly then get the biggest one you can instead of trying to worry to much about 1080p and 720p. Unless you are going to watch HD and the content is being delivered in 1080p it is pointless to worry about that when considering size to value. A nice 32" should be close to that price range and is great for gaming on, so get the one that seems best to you. Name brand versus Vizio is still the same you get what you pay for, but in this world of electronics nothing is guaranteed.
