LED TVs Sell In Big Numbers
Sales figures of LED LCD TVs for 2009 have been very satisfying for manufacturers such as Samsung, LG and Sharp. These manufacturers predict that for 2010 the slimline range of TVs will also continue to do very well and once more be an outstanding year for sales. Towards the end of 2010, we will begin to see many bargain manufacturers introducing own brand models at prices much less than those by main line brands. A US based TV manufacturer, Vizio, have already released an LED LCD TV at a third of the price of some Samsung LED TV models. Vizio's new TVs have all of the high tech features that you would expect and are less than inch thick. They have even been reported to cost less than a pair of Ugg boots.
Everybody, throughout the world, is (or should be) aiming to do their bit to save the environment from such harmful gases as those used in older TV models. This is an important factor when choosing a TV as the LED LCD TVs use considerably less, along with much lower power consumption. LED models use up to a massive 40% less energy than standard LCD TVs, so will dramatically reduce energy bills within the home, a great concern for all.
Unbeatable.co.uk report that LED sales are expected to reach a staggering 26 million in 2010. Bargain LED LCD TVs are to be a big feature of 2010/2011 due to increasing popularity and huge potential competition. Samsung LED TVs currently hold the biggest market share over 60% as of January 2010.
