Should i buy an Xbox or PS3?
I have a 37 inch Visio which supports up to 1080i. So both game consoles can do that. Im not to big on blue ray nonsense anyway and the 1080p. But im going to get a 42 inch soon that is 1080p. But for now i play games like Madden (football) and basketball. I like Halo but havent really played it in years. And the other game is Call of Duty 4. I have it for PC, but heard it is sick on PS3. Both gaming consoles around the same price the 360 being a bit cheaper. What is the better buy?
the xbox 360 is more for people who like gaming and the PS3 is more built for family entertainment.
Buy a PS3. If you buy a xbox 360 you are committing suicide.
The xbox has 33% chance of getting destroyed or messed up and getting the red ring of death. The PS3 has 0.3% change of getting a failure. And the ps3 plays blu-ray, and it has HDMI out. xbox 360 doesn't. And ps3 has wifi built in. Xbox doent, and you have to buy a wifi thing for the xbox that costs 100 dollars. and to play HD movies you have to buy a thing to play hd on the xbox that costs 150 dollars. Annd you have to pay to play online on the xbox. PS3 is free to play online. you just connect it to your modem.
i would go with the PS3 it has a whole bunch of awesome games such as mgs4 socom etc and it has blue ray disc. its better then HD. in fact blue ray is the best selling now. Plus the new ps3 is coming out in a bundle with metal gear solid 4 on june 12! Buy a PS3. heres some things that mak it all better
1Not only is online free (yes i know xbox live is better), but Sony is counter-acting it with 'Home', a very sophisticated matchmaking system which is also a virtual world to meet mates, download, have your own apparentment, play retro games, pool or just explore the world. So thats better. and just lug it into your modem on the comp and your off
2PS3 have lightweight controllers, which dont only have SIXAXIS, but are blue tooth which is much better than Microsofts Infra-red controllers because they are heavy, fat and nothing has compatibility with its system while you can buy blue tooth headsets for PS3, and it works amazingly.
Oh yeh, and PS3 has 7 controller ports, while Xbox has 4. Yes I know having 7 is an odd number and weird, but its still more than the Xbox. muahhaha
3PS3 has better reliability. PS3's have no problems with its hardware, no faults and is quite hard to break it even if you drop it. Xbox's have rings of death, very unstable console. Yes you get 3 years warrenty, but that fault should not have been there in the first place, and guess what? You only have 1 year left of that warrently...
4PS3 is lacking its games, yes, but remember that Xbox has been out 1 year longer than the PS3. Dont try and game games which have been released on both consoles as why you prefer the console. And just a heads-up for Xbox fans, there is no more sequal to Halo, so buh bye to the main reason of Xbox...lmao. Oh by the way, yah Halo is good, but the lifespan on Halo 3 (playing time, even multiplayer) is so short, I get bored within a month, even if its online. Its so repetative.
PS3 will get releases like GTA4, MGS4..and much more if you check the coming soons on all gaming websites.. including sony's website
5PS3 HAS WAAAY better Graphics
6And the PS3 has no limits on its hardrive...you can install any amount of GB hardrive no problem, or more/less if you want by simply taking out a few screws and taking out some wires, reattaching and its plugged in and ready to go.so i would go for PS3 if anything!
