Serious HDTV sound problems!!!?
Okay, I know some people are going to say that you get what you buy, but I don't have a lot of money. Moving on. The other day I bought a 26 inch Sanyo 720p LCD TV. Fair Enough, Picture was fine, but the sound...OH GOD THE SOUND! It sounded muffled, but not volume wise. The clarity of the sound was mediocre at best. It made me feel claustraphobic! So, I took it back 3 days later. It hurt my ears just to listen to the thing. Anyway, I got a 26 inch Visio instead. Love the picture and the black finish, but the sound is the same. It was better on display! (isn't everything?) I don't think the actual TV is the problem...because the customer reviews never complained about the sound, so what is it? I have analog television right now, but it sounded better on my SDTV. My T.V sits on a wood chest of drawers, and my room is relatively small, I think that might be it. Any ideas?

OK bud, speakers in a tv are literally, and this is a solid undeniable fact, the cheapest speakers that the manufacturer can find that still create a semblance of what one might call "sound". Now take that to the extreme and think about what the manufacturers of the cheapest tv you could find have done.
