Could i use a usb to vga adaptor to connect my hdtv to my pc?
I saw a fry's ad showing a usb to vga adaptor. I didn't know they existed and i was wondering if i could use it to connect my hdtv to my pc. My hdtv has a usb port and my pc has a vga port. Will it work?

the thing is my tv has a usb port and i was wondering if i could plug in the adaptor to the tv to the pc so i can allow the hdtv to act as my pc monitor
The ones I've seen work the other way around.
USB is connected to the PC & VGA is connected to the monitor.

It won't work.
That product is designed so that the USB connector is attached to the PC ... not the monitor.
