Toshiba's Regza 42XV635DB LCD TV provides superior image quality with enhancement that makes standard definition broadcasts display as near high definition images. The picture enhancement is provided by Resolution Plus, which improves the edge definition and texture on this 42 inch full HD ready set with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution.
The Toshiba 42XV635 uses many other enhancement technologies to improve picture and motion quality. A unique Toshiba processor technology known as MetaBrain acts as the control centre for features like Resolution Plus, AutoView and Active Vision Picture Processing.
Active Vision M100HD Pro is a special technology that creates frames that are inserted between the normal frames to improve motion picture viewing. The entire spectrum of motion is calculated using sophisticated mathematics to estimate the movement of each pixel resulting in seamless motion picture viewing.
The Toshiba Regza 42XV635 LCD TV's AutoView feature senses lighting in the room and compares it to the images that are shown in real time. The backlight is adjusted continuously to improve picture quality against the ambient light present in the room. Low speed 50 Hz flicker is eliminated by repeating each frame to produce 100Hz quality.
