Dynamic Contrast Ratio Difference?
Trying to decide between these 2 for video gaming, HDTV, and Blu-Ray watching.
Sony Bravia KDL-46W5100
Sony KDL-46V5100
Seems the only difference is a different menu, internet connectivity and the W series has a 100000:1 dynamic contrast ratio while the V series has 50000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. Is this a noticeable difference and worth the $300-$400 difference?
The W also have better color, improved sound (if that matters), Internet Video, and more wide modes when used with a PC. It is a better TV; you will have to decide if those improvements are enough to justify the price difference.
Is there any way you can move up to the Z5100? It is a significantly better TV.
