Should I change my 720p HDTV for 1080p version?
I have a Toshiba 32" wlt68 which is 720p /1080i. I inmtedn to buy a Sony playstation 3 for games and BluRay playback. I know that Sony have recently updated the firmware on the PS3, but will i really get the benefit of the PS3 from games and movies at 720p or have I wasted my money and should habe chosen a 1080 p HDTV?
I have a PS3 and 32'' 720p HD tv and think it looks great. Much better than SD, but I personally wouldn't waist my money getting 1080p version. I honestly don't think the extra visual quality would justify the expense, when you could use that money to buy games and maybe extra controllers. Don't forget Sony don't supply a hdmi cable so you will have to buy one separately to witness HD quality.
