Upgrading a 26" Sony 480p to a 26" Sony HDTV 720p or a 22" Insignia HDTV 1080p.?
Will i see MAJOR changes in picture quality? Do i need to get 1080p to get the most out of my PS3 gaming experience, or is having a 26" Sony HDTV 720p still awesome graphics?
Yes, you will see major improvements in picture quality. Go with the Sony 720p 26" set. Insignia the "house brand" TV from Best Buy and does not generally enjoy good ratings regarding quality and reliability. You can't see the difference between 720 and 1080 on a set under about 50" anyhow.
