Need help buying a Sony HDTV?
Ok so I have come down to a 46" Sony Bravia LCD flatpanel HDTV. However I dont know wether I should buy an older V series or a newer XBR series. There is a 46" V series at Samsclub for $1978. I think that's a pretty good deal. But Im wondering wether I should spend more money on an XBR series. Is there much of a difference? Or should I just get the V series?
There is a BIG difference between the 46S3000 and the 46XBR4.
Even in the V series there is a big difference in picture.
But the biggest bang for the buck is the 46W3000.
Instead of going to a big box store to buy it, try supporting your local small business dealer, not only will you get better support, but also you will help your local economy.
Tip: Do not buy your extended warranty from samsclub, most of the time it is cheaper to get it directly from Sonystyle.com. I believe its $249.99 for a 5 year plan.
