How do i digitally tune my Sony Bravia W series TV?
I have a Sony Bravia KDL-40W3100 tv i'm able to digitally tune any channels on. I've tuned the analogue channels and they work fine but the digital don't want to tune. I live in a brand new apartment so i assume there shouldn't be any problems with the aerial. And im pretty sure this model comes with built in HD tuner. I don't know what im missing. I've lost the manual so i can't look in that either..lol Help muchhhhhhh appreciated.
It would help to know where you are. I'm guessing Canada if you're getting analog stations over the air (OTA) and also have digital stations working in the area.
If that's the case, don't make any assumptions about your antenna. Digital OTA technology is very unforgiving of weak signals. With analog, a weak station can be watchable, just a bit snowy. With digital, they just don't show up.
The receiving antenna is the weak link in the digital OTA reception chain. If you don't have a very good one, and/or if you're not in an area where there are strong OTA digital signals, you will definitely have reception problems. Good luck.
