I have a Sony 46" Bravia. The green power LED was blinking red 6 times last night?
I know that supposedly means it's a back light issue. I turned the TV off and turned it on about 3 hours later and everything was completely fine. I only left it on for like 3 mins because I was afraid it was gonna crap out on me again for good. So my question is: Was the blinking LED just a fluke? I wanna go play PS3 or watch a movie but I'd hate to use the TV and have it screw up even more than it possibly already is.
No--it is not a fluke. You can expect it to happen more often until the point it does not come on at all. I hope it's under warranty---call for repair and give them the full model and serial number as we need the serial number in order to order the correct part----sometimes.
