Samsung LED - 120 HZ 46" TV help?
I have a samsung 46" LED 120HZ. I have a CAT 5 cable that connects to an HDMI converter that then connects to the TV. At times the TV will say something about Time not available and there will be no picture. After I unplug/plug back in the HDMI converter and turn the TV off and on it will start working again. Is there any fix to this problem. I used to have a 40" Sony Bravia for 1 year, and no problems like this.
Replace the Signal board as a last resort on the Samsung TV, you may have a non-responsive HDMI processor. But you may also have a flaky one in the converter that just started acting up.
Wish you still had that Sony for testing this thesis....
Got any other HDMI - based equipment you can use to test the input that is giving you fits? Each input has it's own processor, they do not share them.
If the others work fine, then I'd suspect the converter.
