sony bravia 32 lcd hdtv
Do i need a hdmi or component cable for ps3 if i have hdtv with 720p?
I will most probably be getting a 720p 32'' sony bravia lcd hdtv. I don't want to spend so much money on a hdmi cable as they come for about $100. So am i going to get not so clear picture with the component cables wich are about $24?

i won't need like the perfect crisp sound but good sound will be fine....
You don't need hdmi if your tv is only 720p
component supports 480i: 480p: 720p: 1080i
HDMI supports 480i: 480p: 720p: 1080i: 1080p it also supports audio and component doesn't. Component will do just fine
