Need help deciding which TV to get?
I want to get a TV. I picked out a 32", 37", and 40" because the space I have can hold those sizes. I just want the one that's most worth it. I will be connecting a PS3 up to it so I want 1080p, but I hear that 1080p is only really noticeable on TVs 40" or bigger. So this leads me to want the 40", but it's the most expensive obviously. (Just under $1000.) But would it be worth it? Otherwise which of these TVs do you think is most worth the money? Thanks for any help!

Sony Bravia S-Series KDL-40S4100 40" 1080p LCD TV - $949.88
1080p kind of shows up in the 40" range but far moreso as you break 50". So the 32/37" TVs at 1080p, that's fine to have, but you're paying for a feature you're not really going to notice or get much out of. 1080p isn't that necessary in general. If you're getting TVs of those sizes, 720p will look just fine. Even if you have a 1080p BD, it'll down res it to 720p for you and it will look just fine. Yes in theoretical terms you're not at the best quality, but in practical terms it won't really impact your viewing experience.
While I agree overall with the other comment about going Plasma, again TV size matters. Unless you're going to jump up to 42" then Plasma just isn't worth it. But you might be able to find a really good one in the sub-$1000 range if that is your budget. A Panasonic TH42-PX80, PZ80, or PZ800 would all be top flight choices.
Of your choices I would go with the Sony 40" though just for sheer size. I'm a "bigger is better" kind of mentality. So I would maximize the size (while maintaining good image quality) within my budget.
But I would keep doing my homework. Right now there's a Samsung LN40A550 on sale on BestBuy for $100. Samsung is a great LCD maker.
Also, in smaller sizes, 37" and lower, I would look long and hard at Panasonic LCDs. While they are known for their larger Plasmas, they make really strong LCDs of that size. They rate with some of the best picture quality on the market. Right now Best Buy has the Panasonic TC-L37X1 and TC-37LZ85 on sale. The latter being one of my personal favorite options one could make for a 37" TV.
