Home Theatre System
Today all leading electrical companies offer you great home theatre systems. They have become a range, as in today’s fast paced world, many people don’t have the time to go to a cinema hall and watch a movie. What are all the components?
Home theatre systems today give you the real experience of a cinema, just within the comforts of your home. There are many components that go into making your home theatre system:
• Audio and video sources - These are the input devices that give you your audio and visuals. The more expensive home theatre systems have the high quality formats, like Blu-ray, which are highly preferred today. The Blu-ray player is a 60” high definition player that has a cinema style 16:9 format and a thousand watt home theatre receiver. Sometimes, though, they include a VHS player or a video games system. Some technologically advanced theatres now include a PC to act as a library for all the music and video content.
• Processing Devices - The input devices are processed by either a standalone AV receiver or the preamplifier and sound processor for some of the complex sound formats. You have to decide this input before it can be forwarded to the output.
• Sound - All home theatre systems differ and some consist of at least two speakers, but some even have ten with additional subwoofers. The Blu-ray has five to seven speakers along with it, with a powered subwoofer with a 12” driver. Some really expensive home theatre systems even have the Audiophile-grade sound system.
• Video - The video includes a large HDTV display screen. Some really expensive home theatres even offer inbuilt screens to give a very theatrical look. LCD, that is, Liquid Crystal Display, televisions can also be an option instead of a screen, but it is much smaller. You can even get a video projector, rear projection TV, plasma TV or a traditional CRT TV. Some really good televisions to opt for are Sony LCD, Samsung LCD, Sharp LCD, Panasonic Plasma and you could consider the home theatre system Panasonic has to offer.
• Last but not least comes the ambience of the viewing room. Many people today have designated rooms for the home theatre system, giving it the feeling of sitting in a theatre. There has to be comfortable seating and, most importantly, there should be sound proofing so the sound inside and outside the room are balanced.
