samsung lcd tv 42 1080p
Which TV should I get? LCD(1080p) or Plasma (1080i)?
Samsung’s 42-in. HP-T4234X Plasma 1080i/720p
Viewsonic N4280P LCDTV 1080P
and they are the same price $1099
and I'm getting a PS3 soon. At 42" will 1080p make a difference and will a plasma be ok for ps3 gaming?
I would suggest go with the LCD for gaming. Plasma's can "ghost" even thought most of them are pretty good about not "ghosting" with today's technology. I wouldnt take the chance with my 1k tho. Also LCD last longer and run cooler which saves electricity, my guess around 40%. Both have great picture i'd favor plasma's a tiny bit. But still, a LCD will last many more years.
I'd go with the 1080p!
