I have been looking at TV's full hd 48-52 inches and i need help chosing?
I want one that is good for gaming on my playstation 3 and can handle very long sessions (from 12-24 hours) which is very unhealthy for me but im 13 what do you expect?

touching on the above posters reply, i have to agree, both of those sets are super nice. the touch of color is just a red tint to the frame, nothing juicy.
i'm a sony fan myself. so of course i'll choose sony on a first pick. one advantage the 6** series in the samsung has is video support on the usb port. it will do photos, music and videos (certain formats), but on the movies i think it will only do .avi files, with 1080p support though. the sony V series does not though, but it will do pictures and music. for me, one format support isnt enough to swing the bar to the samsung. Western digital makes a nifty usb dock thing that you can plug in any usb device like a HDD and connect it to your tv via hdmi cable and view all your media that way, and it has tons of different format support, for about 100 dollars.
other than that the samsungs will have a swivel base, but the viewing angle on both are good and the same on either. sony contrast is 50k:1, and i think the samsung is either the same or a hair higher (?). both are great tv's though, you really can't go wrong. i've seen the sony tv on sale as low as 1200 bucks at some stores and usually a steady 1400ish at most retailers. shop around, look into price matches if you shop locally, some stores match and give you an extra discount. as much as i hate best buy, they do a lot of bundles (bluray players with tv get you more money off on some sales, etc etc)
