What kind of tv should I get?
I am looking for a tv for my new room. I am interested in a projector and screen, but I don't know anything about them, or if they are the quality I am looking for. I am sure that in the future they will the in thing but right now I am looking at 50'' and up flat pannel tvs. I would really prefer nothing over 60'' because that would look crazy in in my room. Any suggestions on quality, price, and brands would be great! Any experiences would also help, such as wall mounted vs stand, lcd vs plasma, etc..
Projectors are good if you have a clear white wall and a long enough room to get the projector back but the have a life spam or 500 hours or so usage (not completely sure how long to be honest). The bulb is what has to be replaced after that time and costs a small fortune. So yes, for now stick with a regular tv.. I wouldn't go with Plasma. LCD is much better. Plasma tends to make TV look overly soft lit (like wathing you tube on the net, it's not as sharp as LCD). In terms of brands it's really hard to say which is best. I would suggest getting one of the magazines dedicated to TVs etc you'll find in WHSmiths etc monthly that will really help. Is worth the effort because you don't wanna get stuck with a dud as there are lots of those out there.
