how do you improve indoor antena reception?
for my new HDTV, i bought an indoor philip antenna sometimes the reception is okay, most of the time it does not work well. i tried adjust it in all angles, the imagery fade in and out, anything i can do to boost the signal?
i am not interested in getting an outdoor antenna or paying additional to dish network for the local channels.
Well, an over air antenna you have in your house will only be *so* good. First off, make sure the antenna you have is powered, that is, it plugs in to the wall, not just the TV.
If that's what you have, and you've tried dancing all around the room and still can't find the happy medium, one thing you can try is putting more wire on the antenna. Either wrap it, or just nudge it against something metal. Make some wire touch it. Extra metal acts as a bigger antenna. It might not look super, but should work better.
