Stretch Ceilings: A Solution For Unique Atmosphere In Your Interiors
Sometimes false ceiling solutions are essential not only from aesthetic point of view, but also for functional purposes, such as incorporation of systems of ventilation, air conditioning, fire tracing and fire safety (sprinklers), alarm systems, electrical installations. Also, in special cases false ceilings are required for sound absorption, noise reduction or avoid condensation forming.
At last the false ceiling gives us the capability of fitting all types of light fixtures, grilles and fixing points by the use of a proprietary background support and systems of optical effects in the room.
Stretch ceiling systems provide a superb alternative to traditional suspended ceilings.
The stretch ceiling system is consisting of two basic components: a perimeter PVC or aluminium track and a lightweight fabric membrane which stretches and clips into the track. In addition to ceilings the system can be used for wall coverings, light diffusers, and creative shapes.
The track enables curves, domes, vaults and many other shapes to be formed, which are particularly impressive.
The membrane is made of heavy-duty vinyl polymers directly at the factory upon exact measurements taken from the room or drawings. The stretch ceiling is mounted by trained installers that specialize in this kind of ceiling installations.
The membrane is available in many different colours and finishes including matt, satin, lacquered (reflective), perforated, suede, metallic and translucent (for light diffusion, backlighting, projection). Effects can be produced with colour changing led ligths.
Pot lights, chandeliers, track lighting and fibre optics can easily be incorporated with any of the membrane colours and finishes.
The stretch ceiling can be formed into 3-dimensional shapes, suspended from cables, installed wall to wall or placed as ceiling panels.
It can be printed or painted for additional effects, is entirely waterproof, washable and is maintenance free, hygienic, and non toxic, antistatic and non-allergic. Installation can be carried out in a few hours and does not require the removal of furniture. The ceiling can be quickly removed and reinstalled with no mess.
It improves the quality of thermal and sound insulation, hides water stains on the ceiling or walls, even the cracks in it.
