The Panasonic TX-P42X10 is indeed a notable product and while it lacks a few of the impressive features that you commonly find in more dear models, the TX-P42X10 is very good for an entry level 42 inch plasma screen. Made by Panasonic, you can moreover be sure that quality and dependability is not compromised on.
While many people have gone on to manufacturing large scale LCD flat screen tvs, Panasonic still makes a considerable number of plasma tvs like the TX-P42X10. While some people prefer LCD, plasma has its own advantages as well.
This TX-P42X10 screen is not full HD, meaning that while you can play any content currently on the market at the moment, you will not have play back in full 1080p. The reality of the matter is though, that this is not necessarily a problem. While this is a large screen, with a diagonal viewing area of 42 inches, few people even notice a great deal of difference in resolution.

The Panasonic Viera TX-P42X10 has all the features you need including various options to customise the colours and the picture but nothing too fancy. The TX-P42X10 also has a very adequate built in speaker system although it is highly recommended that you buy a surround sound system as is always the case regardless of how much you spend on television.
