Is there a way I can use my Netzero dial-up on my Philips Magnavox WebTV so I can go on the internet on my TV?
I got a Phillips Magnavox WebTV at a garage sale. I do not have MSN Internet, but I have Netzero Dial-up. Whenever I try to enter my Netzero information, it says the address I was assigned isn't compatible. I have an MSN e-mail, if that helps. Please post a reply ore e-mail me at:

You can probably use NetZero dialup with Webtv. Chances are Microsoft dials the same phone numbers with Webtv. Contact NetZero and ask if your local numbers are Webtv / MSNTV compatible.
Microsoft rebranded Webtv to MSNTV after buying it in 1997.
You will need to establish an account with MSNTV. I strongly recommend just plugging in the box and using the standard Webtv service for the first month. It’s about $23. After you become familiar with the box, home screen, keyboard, remote, etc, it will be much easier to change the service to your own ISP.
Microsoft charges $10 a month to MSNTV users with their own ISP.
You should also be aware Microsoft offers the MSN One Plan. For $22 a month Microsoft offers unlimited internet access for both MSNTV and a computer.
