A TV set with a 1080P sticker on the front of it TELLS YOU the TV set has TWICE AS MANY PIXELS over any TV that does NOT have that sticker on it....
That's a helluva lot more detail ! And you see it when you watch Discovery Channel's HD Theater.
That's because they transmit their shows in 1080i.....
What the difference between 1080i and 1080P?
Well, 1080i transmits 1080 lines of information via a TV signal.
1080P transmits 1080 lines of information <
That's the ONLY DIFFERENCE !!
PS....the math that people use is completely FLAWED (ahem, see above)
And I won't try to confuse you MORE....
BOTH DELIVER 1080 Lines of detail 30 times a second.....and your eyes will never see it flicker because of that!
That's the TRUTH.
As for PROSCAN....That is the deluxe model of RCA.
They've been building the PROSCAN line since the 1990's
And they are good TV sets....
I wonder why these other guys NEVER made the connection....
I guess they don't actually work with TV sets and the manufacturers...
