lcd tv box
got a new 42in insignia lcd tv 1080p 120 hz cant get to work with direct tv box?
i can get it to work with coaxial but when i try the component cables it is black n white and fuzzy and says 480i so is it my TV or my Direct TV box?
not HD box all the box has is a VIDEO OUT (yellow) and AUDIO OUT (red and white)
Is your direct tv box an HD box. If so, it will have HDMI output, try that.
If not, it's probably just an Sd box and you should upgrade, but for now, component is a five cable bundle, red/green/blue video, red/white audio. Get one of those and connect the component out of your box into component in on your tv, use the one where the red/white audio is right next to it so you get sound.
I think you are confusing composite, yellow, red/white with component.
