How do i get my local basic channels to go HD on my new HDTV?
I just got the Samsung 720p LCD HDTV and it looks like the local channels still look grainy with crappy picture. I'm not really smart about these things so please advise and help.
I bought a RCA indoor antenna and that was worse then the antenna in my building. im in manhattan 11th floor so i should pick up HD channels right?
what do i need?
can you make any recommendations? someone mentioned getting a HD amplifier tuner, should i? which one?

You need to tune into the HD stations. There will be duplicate stations of all those channels. Like Channel 5 might be NBC in SD and then Channel 184 might be NBC in HD. So you need to do a channel scan and let the antenna/TV find the channels.
