Why does my Wii not Detect my TV as HD?
So, I just got a Brand new 55 inch Vizio (LCD,120hz, full 1080p). So I plugged my Wii into the AV1 on the back of the TV, I can go into settings and change it to widescreen fine. But It when I go into Video resolution, it wont let me do HDTV (480p). It will only let me do 480i. Does anyone know a fix to this problem? Any help would be great!
You will need to buy a component video cable. The video cable will allow you to play the wii with high-quality picture. So if you have the cable, you can play in 480p. You should get one of these cables if you want high-quality picture:
