Samsung Un55B7000 55 1080P Led Hdtv - Good Performance With Low Power Consumption
I bought this device for two reasons:
1. The unit is in spite of the extremely flat, and Resolution, with 27kg extremely light in comparison to equal size TVs.
2. Thanks to the LED lighting power consumption is extremely low. The power consumption also depends on the displayed image, is with the use of my image adjustments, on average, but only 100W. For a 55 "TV a sensational value. PARTICULARLY when the television is on for many hours a day can increase the price of LED televisions expected over the life of the TV very largely. The TV is due to low power consumption only slightly (if hot I think because of my other flat panel ..... uff).
First, the postivien experiences:
1. As described above, power consumption, screen size and weight are extremely good.
2. + Scaler deinterlacer: Compared to most older Samsung televisions, Samsung has finally managed to conjure up even with normal SD television signals, a pretty good picture.
3. Colors, brightness, etc. are good.
4. The price is favorable for an LED TV.
5. Smooth 24Hz display ...
Now the bad experiences:
1. The worst may well be the rather uneven lighting. PARTICULARLY in the upper corners are about 3cm visible darker than the rest of the screen. This usually comes in the store, which does exactly this point, Samsung is assembled triangular sticker on the screen, covering exactly the problem 3cm in the corner. The problem appears even with the smaller screen sizes of 55 "to be absent. Even in the surface brightness is rather erratic, but this in practice - unlike in the corners - is unlikely to be visible.
2. The LED dimming is usually less problematic, though sometimes visible. If it were not for the power consumption, general, I would probably turn off the dimming more permanent, as the TV without dimming delivers a great black.
3. To sync with me the TV has problems with my Onkyo 875 receiver via HDMI. Especially when the signal switches the amplifier from 60Hz (NTSC) to 50Hz (PAL), is sometimes the TV to the right and must be Aus-/ live. In practice, this means that one must turn first image source and amplifier, so that abuts a fixed 50Hz signal before you turn on the TV.
4. The rather useless Internet function is extremely slow, and the DLNA feature currently only works with the Samsung server software on Windows. This could probably afford Samsung updates via conformity, but experience shows that this is probably unlikely.
5. The tone of the TV is almost unbearable. Certainly it is difficult to accommodate such a good speaker in a flat screen with little space. Who should buy the TV, so most already have external speakers or consider.
6. A neatly printed manual I miss. Also the handling is sometimes quite cumbersome and restricted (PARTICULAR currently still often used setting the aspect ratio is adjustable) only via the menu.
Conclusion:
In image quality, there are probably some better TV with LED local dimming, even from Samsung. Nevertheless, price, weight, size and power consumption are extremely well compensated, and the poorer image quality loose. And even though it is perhaps up slightly different reading, the picture quality of this TV is ingesammt very well despite everything.
