This TV is sleek and glossy, and very attractive if you like the modern look for a television. While the shine looks great, it can create distracting reflections, particularly in a room with lamps or sunny windows.
It's a wide television, with the top and bottom panel margins being smaller than the sides. The actual measurements for the unit are 48.1 x 29.6 x 12.6 inches, and it has a weight of 72 lbs. (including the attached swivel stand).
The standard Samsung remote is included with the LN-T4671F, so there is nothing new there. Not all of the remote buttons are back-lit, which is a shame for such a high-end TV. The volume, channels and device control buttons are the only ones that are lit. Other than that, the remote is logically designed and the other buttons are easy to locate.
You won't find the same level of motion blurring with the LN-T4671F, due to Samsung's 120 Hz refresh rate and judder removal. This provides a much smoother video display. The black level is excellent and so is the color accuracy and screen uniformity.
The factory settings will be suitable right out of the box, but if you prefer to adjust the picture to suit your personal tastes, there are plenty of areas for customization. The color temperature has 5 preset options but you can also make your own combinations of red, green and blue to perfect the color temperature to your liking.
When it comes to the connectivity of the LN-T4671F, you will have more than enough options to choose from. There are 3 HDMI 1.3 inputs, as well as 2 component inputs, AV input with S video capability and composite video. That's not all. There are also 2 RF inputs for cable and antenna, and even older VGA inputs for a computer. Add in a head phone jack and a USB port, and you have a full host of available means to connect any device to your HDTV.
