DVI-D TO VGA: Cost effective solution for DVI to VGA conversion
A high definition DVI-D (digital video interface) digital signal can be converted into an analog signal using a DVI-D to VGA conversion device. This device has made the conversion between DVI and VGA signals possible. It enables a user to connect older CRT monitors, projectors, analog video systems and televisions to DVD players or computers. These devices offer video resolutions of 640 x 480, 800 x 600, 1280 x 1024, 1600 x 1200 and 1900 x 1200. It has a frequency bandwidth of 165MHz and a DVI-D bandwidth of 1.6GHz. By generating the compatible digital to analog conversion signals it ensures that the output from PCs and laptops can be viewed on older display devices.
Although it does not require an external power supply and consumes only .54 Watts of power, which it passes from the motherboard, this DVI-D to VGA conversion device can be externally powered with an AC adapter.
