Is it possible to watch Youtube videos in 1080i/p if I connect PC to HDTV?
If you watch youtube videos in HD on Youtube you will get the resolution of 720p(1280x720), whenever I connect my computer to my HDTV I get a resolution of 1380x768 using VGA(my TV is full HD). And if I watch youtube videos in my TV I get 720p. But I as thinking of buying a VGA to HDMI cable.

Will I get the same 720p resolution, or will it upconvert to 1080i/p?
bytefield, my tv is full HD. but when I connect my computer the highest resolution it gets is 1380x768. But yes my TV is Full HD.

That cable will not help, I'm not sure exactly what it's for, but it won't help in your situation. See the warning the seller added at the end.
It sounds like the video card in your computer is already displaying at the full resolution of the TV. Although you said it's full HD, are you sure it's 1920x1080? I'm guessing it's probably 1366x768 instead.
If your TV's resolution is greater, you can set the computer output resolution to match it (Control panel > Display properties > Settings), but it won't improve the Youtube picture any, you're already seeing the most resolution it can provide.
