TV QUESTION: HD FULL, HD, 600HZ, PLASMA, LCD (comfussed :S!)?
Ok, so heres the plan/question
I finally start work again next week and plan to save up for an HDTV this time.
Up until this day me and my family still don't have an HD television
we're not poor or anything like that, just.. never felt the need to change
our beloved year 2000 Digital 32inch Sony Trixon tv :] (haha)
Anyway, i've done a little research and now i'm seriously stuck as
i literally know nothing about HD, Full HD, LCD, Plasma, 600Hz, 100Hz blah blah blah..
Heres what i've found:
1) LG 42LH3000 42" Full HD LCD TV (1080p) - £554.99 ($833)
2) LG 50PQ2000 50in 600Hz HD Ready Digital Plasma TV - £649.99 ($980)
3) LG 42PQ3000 42" HD Ready Plasma TV - £475.98 ($720)
Questions:
Which one is a best buy?
Would size really matter to someone like me?
Difference between 600hz and one without 600hz?
Difference between 1080p & a normal HD TV?
42'' - 50inch worth £100($150)?

When they say HD or HD ready, they mean a 720p TV. Full HD is 1080p.
Whether or not you need a 720p TV or a 1080p TV depends on your seating distance from the TV and what size the TV is.

If you're into sports, movies and/or gaming...i recommend going with a Plasma TV! From Panasonic or Samsung...not LG though!
Plasma TV's have the highest "native" contrast ratios(5,000,000:1). Giving them the blackest blacks, whitest whites and most vivid and rich looking colors! They also have the fastest response times(.001ms) and fastest refresh rates(600hz). Making them the best at producing the sharpest and smoothest motion. Perfect for sports, movies and gaming!
Plasma TVs offer the best picture quality for their price!
