hdtv 46 inch 1080p

I just got a new HDTV?
I have a question about it. It is a 46 inch Sharp LCD 1080p HDTV. We just got Comcast HD. But there are only like 20 HD channels! And the normal channels look terrible on an HDTV!!! Why is this?
Because Comcast is in business to make lots of money with the cheapest possible equipment. All of their analog channels look like crap on any big screen. This is nothing new. You want clear? Get Dish.
The previous poster that touts Monster Cable is a victim of sales hype. I defy him, or anyone else, to tell the difference between my HDMI cables and Monster's. Not even the mighty Monster can tame the garbage that Comcast sends down their cheap system.
